Put your working knowledge of materials, components and their
applications to work as a Halliburton Professional of Mechanical
Technology. Develop test procedures. Conduct tests and complete test
result analysis for assigned projects, and help in handling field and
manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline and
a minimum of two years related experience are required for this
position. Design Engineering, including experience in Mechanical
Downhole and/or Mechanical Service Equipment and a Professional
Engineer's license are preferred.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical
Engineering or similar discipline (not including Engineering Technology
degrees).
- Possession of a PE License preferred for Tech Professional through Tech
Professional, Prin. levels.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience (not required for Assoc.
level).
- Design engineering which includes experience in surface equipment
required.
- Other desirable experience may include the following: Field Experience,
- Reliability, PSL Specific Training, Design for Manufacturability.
